zoey and valerie's having their A'levels prom at Swissotel, both of them missed out sec sch's prom, so I hope they will have a lot of fun at this one! my gurlie best pals since sec 3 (: we studied and had chicken shredded noodles every recess, visited the toilets in trios (not forgetting lauretta), laughed our ass off at zo for being so silly. after 0's ended and the 3 of us went separate ways, im amazed how we still managed to find time for each other.

zoey came over last thursday after her long stresssful week of papers, with joanne. Ate cheap snacks and watched tv then jo had to leave early cos she had dinner at home. So daddy came to pick zo & I out for dinner at Bt Timah market. more fffffish soups to come! (;

and val! my best shoppin pal! last year we watched the Dim Sum Dollies at Esplanade, the ya-ya sisters are showing again this year, you know what im thinking...(: Jon, Zhong and Mic! can u three resurface? I MISS U GUYS! we used to visit Ms chong and Mrs lim during Chinese new years and have BBQs and chalets during the holidays! and its always u people who bring the 4-niners together. so hurry up and plan something before I die of ... starvation. (hunger for ol friends!) hahaha

and HuangYanTing. God... we used to not pay attention to chemistry, talked about novels we read, getting meismerized with Nora Roberts' books cause she authors such great romances and listening to korean songs on Mp3s! hope ure doing good and still writes FABULOUS essays.

YAYYYYYYY. sometimes i looked back at the friends i made in sec sch and thank God because they are the ones who moulded me into who I am today and the reasons Ive found my right group of friends in Ngee Ann.

suppose to watch Happy Feet today. went Vivo with Denise, Karin, small Benson, Rui xiang, Debbie and DAPH, but the cinema's so packed, we ended up eating Carl's Jr..
had this HUGE western bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. then we met Joyce (Marcus's sister), Alvin Lee and Jeremy! the army Boys.. (: so good to see them. okay joyce's really funny. had a little catch-up with Karin as well, missed her.
went PageOne after that. Like Borders and Kino, the books left my eyes in a daze.. gave me another reason to visit vivo again. Its very much like Kino, the slanted shelves and wooden furnitures minus the dim lights. But unlike PgOne, Kino's got a very zen feel. Continued our chase for my pair of skinny jeans and black mini's. a little note: X'MAS in exactly one month! someone reminded me ( :

so im working hard and saving for people who deserves a lovely x'mas this year..
common test in 3 weeks and selections in less than 2 weeks? cold sweat.

attended without fail, but have I push hard enough? no reasons to look back anymore. focus

did nothing much today 'cept going for make up lessons cause of the thailand trip. had training today, met most of the monsters and im gonna see them tmr again (: i guess everyone's busy with our own work, jac's right. no matter what, we still have to make time for trainings cause year 3's gonna be busier and we might not be able to squeeze everything together. CMA test's just next tuesday, i wonder how im gonna survive it.

the trip to thailand was quite an experience, can't say its bad but its not great either. even on board the plane, roaming the streets, visiting temples and laying on my hotel bed.. sets me thinking about my life. how time passes us but we cant grab hold of it. saying we'll treasure our friends and loved ones at the corner of our mouths but never do anything about it. how can we live each day like our last? others get so fed up over trivials, never forgives or forgets, bad mouthing others' behind their backs, two faced/ cheaters/ losers, u name it. no one can ever be 100 percent true to their friends. never expect too much of a person, no one's perfect.

God, suppose to talk about my trip. being emo is bad ): ill post the photos once ive uploaded em so i wont have to say much, pictures worth a thousand words.
karyn's gonna design a new layout for me and ive thought of a new email address. change is good, no more nutswithcream (: hahaha how does armyoftheredcheekbones sound?

im leaving and i dont even know the reasons. just have to tag along.. i wonder who's camera im gonna borrow cos dads camera's way too big. i hope i get to see some exciting new places like phuket or something, away from the high rises and the glaring hassles of city life and lights. no shopping bargains on the cheap streets of bangkok, no late nights, no stressful thoughts. just my family and i having the time of our lives breathing fresh airs and scooping sand.
okay, literally.

simply love the beautiful beaches and sun. since lovely singapore's forecasted to rain for the whole of december and i need to tan!
gonna miss my monsters for 3 loooooooonngggggg days not forgetting the canoeists, my classmates(shee, joseph & yeows), summer gurls and two tutorials which i've found make-up classes for.

after work today, met bel, alex, meng and the polo juniors for dinner. we were one big indecisive bunch, finally settled our stomachs at Ljs. walked the whole of marina.. had a little talk with bel; about boys and the life of being a H i m b o. hahaha u think u funny?
oh! and i met jeremy and alfred, they were on their way to junshen's bday party.

and when i come back, there'll be a presentation waiting for me... so im gonna bring my lap. hopefully thai's technology is explicit enough for a simple communication with my classmates.

i need time to go slow on all the happy moments because life is too short to sorrow
i need to learn to appreciate what daddy always do and stop being so grumpy
i need to focus and put 100 percent in the pool more than ever before
i need my crazy friends to keep me sane
i need to stay true to myself and no one else

i need to believe that love doesnt have to hurt to give it a shot again

the past few days had been busy balancing school, trainings and work. very much the usual stuff. exhausted but keeping it real

worked last night after watching The Guardian with shannon. ashton's the blooomy boy! everything about him's stunning cept the fact that he's married to demi moore. whywhywhy?hopefully their babies look equally hot like mama. life as a coast guard seems pretty inspiring, but i can never imagine my husband doing a job like that. being away with each other, controlled by duty calls, risking lives.. it's hard to imagine you can lose someone this fast, no time for goodbyes ):
